Situated in Abbotsbury, It’s just a short drive from La Casita, along the scenic coast road, with stunning views across the Chesil beach and beyond.
There are several walks around here to the old Abbey, St Catherine’s Chapel and down to the famous Abbotsbury Swannery . You can also PYO wild flowers from Abbey flowers and enjoy tasty fresh food from “Cherries”, cafe, I can recommend the pastrami ciabatta with homemade pickles! (really good). Cherries cafe also has a great menu with tasty sandwiches for a quick snack or complete meals for the hungry walker. There’s also a fine selection of home made cakes and treats.
The walk up to St Catherine’s chapel is a bit steep, however once you get there you can enjoy the views down into Abbotsbury and beyond. There’s also the old abbey and many artisan shops and galleries within the village of Abbotsbury. Abbey farm and the surrounding areas are definitely worth a visit.
